Composition
Comprising a handle and the Veress needle, the needle itself features two parts: a sharp, bevelled outer needle with a 2mm diameter and an inner, blunt-tipped, spring-loaded stylet with a side hole. This innovative design permits seamless introduction through the fascia, with the inner stylet retracting into the outer cannula. Upon penetrating the peritoneum, the stylet recoils to safeguard intraperitoneal organs, ensuring safety and precision.
